    looks like the wooden block is rocked back and forth over the leather as if to break it in or form it. I'm not sure on size but the leather pieces look to be about 6"x3". I can't think of what they would be, mud flaps possibly?

    A “back side” simulator for breaking in or testing leather seats. If so, it looks like they have the skinny butt jig in place.

    It’s the Brooks factory “Pre Softened” model saddle maker.

    Alex got it! Andre and Nick were pretty close. It is Gilles Berthoud’s machine for testing the strength of his new saddle. You can see this machine in action in our “the Answer” post.
