ZWEI Bags are Online

Red U7 Zwei bag
I have finally put up a page for the nice Zwei bags from Germany.

We have had these bags for a while but every time I tried to conceive a page, or set of pages, that would convey their unique nature  I would study the Zwei site, get intimidated, and put it off until inspiration hit me. The hit never came but I needed to put these things in play so I put up a simple selling page with reference to the Zwei site.

The Zwei bags are not typical bike luggage. They have their own niche, I think. They are not primarily touring bags or grocery bags. They do serve very well as stylish, functional, everyday bags. The variety of sizes means there is a model for every purpose from handbag to laptop-toting briefcase. The clever strap system lets them serve as handbag, shoulder bag, and, with the integrated waist strap, a messenger-style bag. Looking good in every instance.

The Klickfix bike mount is practically invisible on the bag. It attaches to a bracket on the handlebars. All necessary hardware is included with the bags we have in stock. (Zwei makes the full line without the KlickFix hardware. If there is interest we will import these parallel models also.)

To get started with these bags we brought in the full range of sizes but only two colors of each size. We probably won’t make special orders for one bag but if you are interested in something besides what we have in stock let us know. Your feedback will be very helpful with future import plans.

We will be putting up a supplimetary picture page for this line of bags. If there is any view or detail that you are interested in, let us know with a comment on this post.

I can’t get the Zwei web site page on the bag’s klickfix connectors to work. Would you be able to post some pictures off how the bag attaches to a bike. Does it only work on handlebars, or can it also work as a pannier?

    Thanks.

We are working on some supplemental pictures. We particularly want to show the mounting system and the inside of the bags. Meanwhile you can go to the KlickFix siteand navigate – KlickFix Adapters > KlickFix Handlebar Adapter System – to learn more about the mount.

KlickFix is kind of shy about doing business in the U.S. Lots of bag manufacturers use their brackets but the parts themselves are not distributed here. We have to go to European suppliers for spares.

i like the courier bag by Zwei, and would be interested in purchasing one. Do you think you will carry that one any time soon?

I would like to carry more Zwei bags. They are unique and very nice. And I like the people that make them. I don't expect to expand my holdings until the sales volume picks up a little, though.

Do you know if the Zwei U18 will fit into the Klickfix bracket on the frame head tube of a Dahon folding Curve D3 bicycle? (http://www.dahon.com/intl/accessories/luggage/mou...

There are two brackets shown on this page. The one on the right, with the red parts on it, is the same, on the bag side, as the handlebar adapter. The Zwei bag will work on this bracket.

I am in Berlin for only a few more days. I saw one of these bags on a young woman who told me she bought it on the East Side of Berlin. A store that starts with F…any idea where I could find it? It was apparently just a shoulder bag in two shades of green. Many thanks,
    Jill

    Hi Jill

The Zwei website has a dealer list. There are lots of Zwei dealers in Berlin.
