Update: I have been using this stand for a few days now and it is growing on me. It really simplifies parking and I like seeing my bike standing tall. It's a help when I need to work on the bike. I used this bike in a product photo shot yesterday and the stand made it all so much easier. I keep finding ways that the stand makes my bike-life better. I'll probably get tired of looking at it sooner or later but for now I am in no hurry to take the Hebie bipod stand off.

Man, $55 for that big, bulky stand? The Swiss-made Esge double-leg stand does the same thing, but is a hell of a lot more elegant and folds out of the way like a one-leg kickstand. Oh, and the price is about the same. I think the decision is clear...
