New Saddle Cover
December 1st, 2009 by Bill | Filed under Products. The nice folks at Rainy Peak Cyclery, in Oregon, have developed a rideable, full coverage saddle cover for B.17s. The construction quality is very good and your Brooks will stay dry for sure with one of these.

Bill, it may be a race between you and me to post this stuff. Love the blog. I posted some information last month about the company and Randi, the seamstress, who is making these covers. Saw them at the OBCA Handmade Bike Show and the design and construction quality are very high.
Mark – I confess I saw the cover on your blog. I bought one for evaluation. I was much impressed with the detail and the steps taken to ensure full coverage. But I guess I don't get as excited about saddle covers as some people do. I do think if someone wants that sort of coverage this is a teriffic cover.
So thanks for the tip.
Saddle covers are certainly nothing to get excited about . . . unless you live in the Pacific Northwest. Here, they can be the difference between keeping a good saddle and having to buy a new one every spring. Again, I like what you are doing here at wallbike.com.
