Different Sort of Brooks Lacing

When Brooks riders (and the Brooks factory) want to firm up their saddles they lace the skirts and the holes and laces usually follow the edge of the skirt. Flickr photo-poster “Levature” did it a little differently. The higher laces look like they would have a more direct effect on the saggy top and they are above the saddle clamp.

    This technique looks much more effective the than the usual under-the-seat style lacing. I think I'll look for one of those worn out saddles to try it on.
