Carradice Shipment Expected

March 26th, 2010 by Bill | No Comments | Filed in Carradice, bags, stock

Over the next three weeks we should get two Carradice shipments. We will get Bagmans, Barleys, Zip Rolls and more. We are told that Bagman supply has stabilized and should be more available, maybe.

4/19/10 Update: The order is ready, the skies over Europe are not. Our Carradice order will ship when the planes fly again.

Carradice Jersey Coming

October 1st, 2009 by Bill | No Comments | Filed in Carradice, new

carradicejerseyCarradice will offer this retro wool jersey soon. The Carradice Cycle Jersey represents “a real breakthrough in fabric technology”, and is made from “Dry Wool” – produced by a company in neighbouring Burnley – which combines a 100% merino wool base layer with a stable polyester layer. The jersey has been produced in collaboration with another British company, Shutt Velo, based across the Pennines in Ilkley.

The traditional British bag maker will also be producing a new under-the-saddle seatpack in cotton duck with leather straps and a refinement of the Kendal panniers in the Barley style.

The jersey is being produced in a small run to gauge demand. Not sure of the price or other details. We will put these new items on order and offer them when they arrive.

Bagman, Carradice News

May 13th, 2009 by Bill | No Comments | Filed in Carradice

We expect a shipment from Carradice in about three weeks. This shipment should include Super C panniers, the Brompton front bag, and, maybe, the Super C Barley.

David, at Carradice, reports that the long MIA Bagman racks are en-route to them. Production on this popular Carradice accessory has been held up for almost a year with mysterious “quality control” problems. The new ones are said to be an improvement on the last version. Carradice might receive them at the end of the month and we might get some a couple of weeks after.
