Brooks is offering a limited run of their popular Milbrook and Glenbrook saddlebgs in antique brown or honey leather. The leather versions will include a shoulder strap. MSRP is 300 for the leather Millbrook and 450 for the leather Glenbrook.

I am told that total production of these two bags is two-hundred pieces . We have our order placed and are hoping for delivery some time in April.

UPDATE 5/7/09: These bags are at the US distributor’s warehouse. We will probably have ours here in 1-2 weeks.

BagLoops 001

But the real reason I am blogging this is because Meauxtown is a major Jack Taylor bike collector. He shows us quite a variety of nice British iron along with the bag loop shots.

This blog will be the repository for any new Carradice Hacks that come along. We have a new shopping cart in the (slow) works and my plan is to use the shopping site for shopping and this blog/photostream all the extra content. WordPress and Flickr are such great tools for getting things done quickly.

You should be able to click on the Carradice Hacks category in the sidebar for future contributions.

The owner spent a long time collecting classic components. Once he had the parts he had Toei build a new frame to hang his stash on.

Also: Check out the bikes pictured on the Toei english-language web page. I have never seen a front light mount like the one on the 1961 Bluebird.
