The Lovely Bicycle blog analyzes the Brooks product line and explains the suitability of the different models in “Demystifying the System.”
We were working a little bike shop just outside of Seattle. Every once in a while we would see a guy go by in some kind of pedal-powered creation that was equal parts radical, innovative, and homebrewed. Eventually the guy stopped in, looking for something, and we got to know Joe Kochanowski a little. We were knocked out by Joe’s fantastic creations. We were impressed with the creativity Joe put into his bikes, Joe’s down-to-earth personality, and his singular focus on developing a state-of-the-art recumbent. Now, twenty years later, we were talking about those days and we wondered if Joe was still working on his bikes. Looks like he is.

http://www.wallbike.com has been down for 36 hours with server problems. We changed hosts and we’re back online now.
BicycleTutor.com has a good video and text introduction to saddle adjustment on their site.
We’ve been showing you the new colors that Brooks has introduced in the past few months. The saddle maker has also been filling in some blanks in their traditional black-honey-antique brown selection for some models. We have three Brooks mainstays in colors that haven’t been available in a long time.
The Team Professional could be had in black or honey. Now we have a brown version with chrome-plated rails. The B.17N is now available in honey, and the b.17 Champion Special, with copper-plate steel rails, is now here in brown.
