Guu - watanabe makes beautiful hand-crafted cotton and leather bags in their small shop in Tokyo. Watanabe Shoichi is the master bag maker, Watanabe Tomoko manages business and customer relations. Their website is very interesting. This is the Guu-watanabe 'May' saddlebag. It is made, like all Guu bags, of 22.3 oz., Japanese-woven cotton duck. Trim is top-grain steerhide. It attaches to a Brooks saddle at three points: one strap goes through the bag loops, one strap supports the weight of the bag on the saddle rails, and one strap fastens to the seatpost.
